OCWW's Romantasy Workshop explores what happens when emotional longing meets fantasy worldbuilding. Come for the dragons, stay for the yearning. This class welcomes both genre veterans and curious newcomers.

What We’ll Explore

• ✨ Enemies-to-lovers, forbidden bonds, and fated mates
• 🗡️ Magic systems and political intrigue as emotional scaffolding
• 💔 Emotional arcs, slow burns, and plot-spice balance
• 🧠 Worldbuilding that makes the romance feel inevitable
• 🔥 Crafting your own heat level with care and clarity

Class Format

• 6-Week Workshop (and beyond) — Each cycle builds its own world and narrative thread. Students are welcome to return, expand, or pick up where they left off.
• Romantic Tropes in the Wild — Analyze beloved (and terrible) examples of the genre.
• Workshop + Share — Optional space to bring your story and receive feedback.
