About the Class

Somewhere in-between the works of George Orwell, Raymond Chandler, Sherlock Holmes, and contemporary writings on police abolition is a terrific murder mystery story. Let's Make A Murder Mystery! is a six-week writing workshop that invites those of any experience level to come build a collective murder mystery that engages in dialogue with these points of reference while submitting their own work to be workshopped as well.

No experience necessary. All ages welcome.

Class Formats

6-Week Murder Lab — Collaborative story construction, with alternating generative and feedback-based sessions.
Side Quests — Optional prompts and writing missions between classes for deeper world and character building.
All-Class Plot Board — A shared mystery-building document evolves week to week.

Payment Options

Pay-What-You-Can — Suggested $20–25 per session.
Full Six-Week Package — $150 flat rate (or sliding scale available).
