Food Writing for Food Banks

Cook up language, share a meal of words, and support hunger relief.

What This Is

A four-week workshop where we write about food as memory, story, and solidarity. We’ll draft sensory-rich memoir, recipe-essays, and micro-manifestos — then package a class zine whose sales keep the giving going.

Food Justice Commitment

We route 50% of all proceeds directly to community food banks.

Why Food, Why Now

Food stories are labor stories, migration stories, and survival stories. We’ll honor taste and texture while naming systems — from food deserts to back-of-house brilliance — and practice useful beauty: language that feeds.
