Who Runs This?
Evan Fleischer is a writer, teacher, and editor currently living in Maine. He holds an MFA in Fiction from Emerson College. His work has been published in The New Yorker, The New York Times, and elsewhere. As a teacher, he has led creative writing classes for all age groups — from worldbuilding workshops for middle schoolers that saw students invent functional languages to murder mystery courses for adults. In addition to his work as a writer and teacher, he has worked as a ghostwriter, researcher, fiction editor, and book editor.
He strives to create an open, welcoming space, one where students are invited to ask questions, explore creative uncertainty, and grow.
